Work by PT in Afghanistan gets Recognition

Rohafza, a physiotherapist who lost a leg to a landmine, helps a child put on an orthotic device. The limb-fitting and rehabilitation centre offers care to all physically disabled people. Many have been injured by landmines, others in accidents, while still others have congenital deformities.

I read this way back in July in one of the issues in WCPT & I saved it because it’s just ever so heartwarming (:
